After some searching I indeed saw that those bottles were not very rare and used everywhere, until there was central heating.oel wrote:Your welcome. Just Google Jan Francis Schutjes and you will find some of the pewter items made by him, including auction results. You have a good looking hot water bottle made by a well known maker. Not rare but very nice and a trough antique.
