Unknown Maker, can anyone help?

I purchased these set of 12 spoons from an auction site yesterday. It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing, so I didn't really get chance to research them first. However, since I've been trying to find out about them, I am struggling to make sense of what I have bought.
I have so far found out that they have the Sheffield Assay mark and I think I am correct that they are year 1823-24 but then the makers mark FM I cannot find.
I have read on here about Pseudo silver and I'm wondering if that is what I have bought? If this is the case should an auction house have sold it?
Pictures of my lot by the link below as I haven't received the item yet.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
