Asprey salver - puzzling hallmarks

I've been asked for help with an Asprey salver, but I'm baffled by the hallmarks shown in the second photo below.

I can't see a town mark, unless the 'Tudor rose is a special for Asprey?

I'm not sure if the cross-barred 'Z' is a date letter.

Is the curlicued 'A' an Asprey maker's mark?

I deduce from the presence of a '.925' mark that this is a second half of the 20th century piece?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi,
Asprey & Garrard (partnership lasted 1988 - 2002).
The rose is Sheffield assay office and letter z stands for 1999.

Thanks Peter. I did try to embed but it didn't seem to work. I'll practise some more

Thanks AG2012. That's perfect! When did Sheffield switch from the crown? I'm not used to modern hallmarks and my books only go up to the early 1900s.

And thanks for embedding the hallmark photo for me ;-)

Sheffield's town mark changed from crown to rose on 1st January 1975 when all four British Assay Offices synchronised their date letters starting with "A". London, Birmingham and Edinburgh retained the same town marks but Edinburgh replaced the thistle symbol for sterling with a lion rampant.
