Hi,

No, not hallmarks I'm afraid, but maker's marks only.

It's one of those sets of marks we've seen many times on the forum, but as yet, we have not come up with an answer.

What we can see from the marks is that there is a letter 'L' contained within the shield above the lion, surely a clue towards identifying the owner of these marks. Probably American, first half of the 20th century.

Hopefully your post may prompt an answer from someone.

Thank you very much for your reply. At least it helps me see other images, I couldn't find similar images before. I was encouraged to ask in this forum even though I believed from the beginning that this tray was not made of solid silver. Let's hope someone else gives us ideas to identify the manufacturer.
I'm going to ask you an extra favor. It's about a piece that is for sale but that I haven't bought yet. It has very good eyesight but the manufacturer cannot be identified because the part where it was placed is blurry and you cannot have any idea what the marks are.
I'm going to share the images in case they look similar to something.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to me.
