Online I've seen a few dresser set pieces with what looks to be the same design and with this same marking Sterling Pat’d 2000 and no maker given. Just wondering if anyone is able to to identify the manufacturer.

Hi Pat,

The below Unger Bros. advertisement may be of interest:

Unger Bros. - Newark, N.J. - 1897

It would appear that Unger Bros. suffered heavily from plagiarism of their work, and the fact that the model number for this whisk broom is a four figure one starting with a '2' may possibly be of note.

Thank you Trev. I get your point and wish it were otherwise.
