Antique Gucci Bracelet Information & Help Needed

Hi Everyone

I'm thrilled to find this forum. As I have been searching for any kind of information on my bracelet on & off for the past 10+ years or so.

History.

My mum bought the bracelet at an Auction for jewellery approx 20 years ago (not entirely sure).

It was a lovely gift from her to me & one that I treasure.

It came with a black Gucci box.

The bracelet is gorgeous with interlocking Gs & has a lift up & over catch (not sure what you call this type of closure) pictures attached.

The bracelet is hallmarked with 925 inside a small oval shape. With the name Gucci above. This is on the back of the bracelets catch.

The bracelet is just over 7 inches long & weighs 0.048kg

It's not damaged in anyway & could do with a clean as I've worn it every day since my mum gave me it.

I have tried several times to look into the history of this bracelet but with no luck.

Someone from the USA approx 8 years ago told me the bracelet was from the 60s.

So can anyone finally tell me anything about my Gucci bracelet, history, age? Or anything at all about it as I've never seen another like it as yet. Although I have only searched online a few times.

If you can help me, it's truly appreciated indeed.
