Nathan and Elsbeth Graetz were deported from Berlin to Theresienstadt on November 20, 1942 on the "75th transport of the elderly."
On February 3, 1943, Alfred Graetz was deported to Auschwitz together with his three-year-old and three-month-old daughter Gittel. Nothing further is known about their fate.
Nathan Graetz died on May 8, 1943 and was cremated three days later in the crematorium in Theresienstadt. Elsbeth Graetz died of exhaustion on August 5, 1943 at 2:20 p.m. in "Building E. II. Sickroom 47" at the age of 65.
