This wonderful silver knife is clearly marked with the citymark of Gouda as far as I know, but I do not recognize the year and silversmith. Here I need some help...

Indeed the town mark of Gouda, it appears with eight stars instead of six. According to; L.B. Gans Premsela & Hamburger Goud- en zilvermerken- van Voet, page 63, used in the 4th quarter 17th century. Perhaps here a misstruck caused this or is the city mark of Gouda with eight stars reused early 18th century. Town mark is without crown to indicate 2nd standard silver, (11 penningen with a clearance of 5 grein = about 900/1000). Year letter unclear.

Maker's mark unicorn's head in oval (?)

The unicorn's head in oval for: Willem Vosmeer, active in Gouda 1709-1755. Buried 20-5-1755. Known knife handle maker. NB. The blade of your knife is a later replacement.

Peter.
