Hi everybody,
I'm new on this forum, so I'm not sure to post in the right place.
Have you ever seen this mark ? I took the photo on a bracelet circa 1960 made in Italy and imported in France : MA + Pine tree (i do not understand how to post a picture...°
Thank you,
Magems

Hi Magems,
I have a personal opinion about this mark.

1910

1910

1915

1929
'MA' and a tree device, the tree looks like a pine. I believe the French for 'Pine' is 'Pin'. 'MA PIN'.
I think we are looking at the retailer mark of Mappin & Webb's Paris branch, but have yet to find anything concrete to back up my thoughts.

Can you post an image of all the marks that accompany this mark in a group together?

Hello Dognose,
So strange, actually there is no other mark on the bracelet excepted an italian mark for the maker and a french mark for gold import. And this one MA + tree ... But no UK marks on the jewel.
Thank you for information, very interesting indeed, will continue to search !
Best,
Magems

I would not expect any UK marks. Mappin & Webb of Paris would have been the retailer only and would have likely sourced their products from several countries.
I would still appreciate an image of all of the marks if possible as this is yet another clue to the source of this mark.
