Sterling Basket ID John Faux 1792?

I recently purchased this Sterling Basket and tried to identify the London Makers Marks. Closest I came was for John Faux, but the date of 1792 from London Dates did not seem to match dates for John Faux.

Do I have the date or Maker correct?

Any help would be appreciated.

You have the date correct but you have misread the initials which are IS (or JS) for Joseph Scammell.
