Robert Allison Information

Hello Folks,

I have been looking into Robert Allison's background to try and establish a timeline for him.

From reading articles on the site he appears to have set up business in Glasgow in 1938.

I am keen to learn , if possible

1 - What age he was in 1938 when setting up the business
2 - Where he may have served an apprenticeship
3 - His actual date of birth.

I have also read that Robert Allison & Son ( James ) was registered for further business in Edinburgh in 1954 and ceased trading in 1982

I'm wondering if he may have been about 25 years old in 1938 ?

I have had a look at the 1921 census for suitable Robert Allison's using the free search we are allowed to do.
There are several possible candidates, however if anyone has definite information about him it would be
very much appreciated.
