Help identifying a silver flatware set

Post by lorant.d »

Hey everyone, i've come here hoping someone can identify this set or has some information on it. I inherited it from my grandmother who got it from her parents so i would say it dates the year 1900+- from Transylvania/Hungary/Austria. I couldn't find any information on the stamping, except 1 person that has a ladle with the exact same stamp, which is missing from my set(has been replaced with a ladle from another silver manufacturer).

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

See Wenzel Bachmann & Co. of Vienna at: viewtopic.php?p=92001&hilit=china+silber#p92001

Thank you very much! I think it checks out pretty much to be exactly WENZEL BACHMANN & Co., made between 1891 and 1918. As i found in the meanwhile the ASII means Alpaca Silber Mark 2 and as far as i understand that is not silver.
