This seal top spoon is marked to the bowl with what I think is a rose, leading me to believe possibly Southampton.
The stem is marked twice with a cinquefoil mark, Jackson's (p524) shows a very similar mark in the unascribed section, seen on a mid 16thc seal top spoon.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this, either supporting the above observations or should I be looking in a different direction?
Many Thanks
Martin
