A tablespoon, 21.9 cm long and (only) 29 grams.

Engravings:
Finely dotted owner initials on the front: "A.G.", and danish or norwegian on the back; "Erindring af B.M. A.M."

Marks:
B in a circle
An eagle, possibly Preussian (it seems to be clutching a scepter and a globe in its claws)
SILBER IX LÖTH

Thank you for any information you might have!

Hello, wonder whether this should be read as (X Löth.) in brackets. Believe that 9 Lot would be too low even for Germany in the middle of the 19th century. Have so far never seen anything below 10 Lot. Looks indeed like the Prussian eagle, Theo should know more about it. Regards Bahner

Thank you! Interesting point, maybe it could be (X LÖTH.) in stead of IX LÖTH.

Could the eagle be a 1809-1812 Steuerstempel/Tax mark? Ref. Rosenberg 4423 - 4424.

eagle mark is Potsdam (ca. 1860-80)
there is also a eldermann mark B like from Berlin , but no makers mark.
