This is quite a large brooch - 4 inches long. The stones I am uncertain whether they are amethyst or paste ??.
The shape might be best described as Fibula ???
I am not certain even on the country of origin for this - Considering the 830 - I wondered maybe Norway (although it doesn't seem typical ??) or even Germany ??
I was hoping someone may recognise the maker and therefore help with further ID.
