Help - Birmingham maker TB for 1820 snuff box

Post by SimonB »

Can anyone identify the maker of this Regency snuff box made in 1820. The maker TB is not in the reference book I have (Wyler). Thanks Simon

I believe TB in the squarish punch would be Thomas Bartleet or Thomas Bartleet Jnr.

At http://www.theassayoffice.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the Birmingham Assay Office have a very good site that gives all the early makers marks, plus a date letter system finder .
