Can anyone identify this maker. The spoon is one from a set of engraved fiddle tea spoons, possibly by a Channel Islands silversmith. This idea comes from the fact that the engraving is typical of the style to be found in Jersey and also they came along with several other similar spoons by J.P.Genge of Jersey with bear the same monogram as the spoon pictured.
The business was still in operation until a few months ago. What is nice to see on the Jersey High street is that the facade of the shop is still original from when it originally opened:
