That is what I thought at first when looking at it using a regular magnifying glass.

Than I had a Jeweller look at the mark and he said it was definitely figural but wouldn't elaborate.

I didn't want to prejudice any observations with my ideas. A friend ...

I used a Optex 200x magnifier to try to capture an image. The diameter of the round band on the ring is 1mm which mean the mark is very small.

I noticed that this question has been moved from British Hallmarks to European Jewelry.

Does this mean that the British Sterling Hallmark and Date Letter are fake?

I am trying to date and maybe ID the Maker of this item.

I believe the ID plaque may have been added later to a watch chain but I'm not sure.

There multiple marks on this bracelet.

All the links are marked with the lion.

A Maker's Mark of HP or MP and the Lion and a Date letter R are on the ...

The tag on this item, when I purchased it, indicated a silver content of 925.

I'm not sure if it was tested or the store assumed the mark to be a sterling mark?

I'm not sure this is the case and suspect it could be nickel silver with a pseudo mark made to deceive.

I hope this is not the case but ...

I would also be interested to know about which locations used the Brittania Mark.

Also, I came back to add that I found the Hibernia Mark in my Collins book in the section on International Hallmarks. It is not listed with the UK Hallmarks but with the Continental /Europe Marks.

Someone told me that in the Hibernia mark the person is sat on a Harp. After pointing this out to me I recognized the shape.

I was looking through the British Hallmarks page on this Site and I am confused and need clarification.

On the main page in section "1. Silver Standard Marks" it shows "E" as the Harp with the Crown over it to be the Irish .925 mark where as on the page for Irish Maker / Date Letter Marks ...

I have already checked the Resource Page for Finnish Marks but I am not sure if this is the mark as given for "Kultaseppa Salovaara Ky, Turku" or if this is a different Maker.

This Brooch appears to be custom made and is marked in at least two places with the 14K mark.

The image below shows only a partial content mark as well as a maker's mark.

I believe though the maker's mark is intended to be three stars side by side with the centre one being larger.

I would search in East Asia. Spoons and forks of such types and sizes are on sale in Korea. Also the AG 800 mark is a 100% match to a similar spoon I have from Korea.
No help for the manufacturer mark.

I have been searching through this site and have found a similar mark. Is it possible that these items might Rossdeutscher & Reisig even with the modern(?) 800 silver mark?

Also, I want to add, it isn't a reflection, there is a Gold(tone) accent on the design on the items.

I believe that this mark might be (C) BOMA. My research found a Silver Jewelry Company out of Seattle, WA by that name but I am unable to verify the Mark.
