Hi Tom,
Thanks for that; I should have put it on the original message..doh!

The mark looks a little like a K and P but it looks like the P is crossing one of the slants to the K (the one at the bottom half of the P. It's really hard to describe sadly and the photo isn't that clear as the mark is so ...

Hi Miles,

I can't thank you enough for your wonderfully fast help as it had completely stumped me! I am going through my late parents collectables.

I do have another confusing one that I will try to get on here; it's an amber necklace that has a very strange mark; well to my useless eye anyway ...

Hi,
I wonder if any of you clever people could help me to decipher these marks on a fruit knife as they have got me beat other than the silver mark. Sorry if they're not that good, if needed I will try to get better ones!
