Sadly, I think the mark letters/numbers surrounding the R are so unclear that I can't make them out. Apart from the number 2 above the R, so I suppose that is the 'day', but the rest elude me.
Interesting to have another piece of information about the brooch, though :)

Hello! I found this broken brooch in a button tin. I think I have understood the Lion mark (Sterling .925); Anchor (Birmingham City Mark); and Gothic k (Date Letter for 1884).
