I will have another look and get back to you - may take me a few days to get back to the piece again. I'll try to post a clearer photo of the marks at that time...I looked and looked at this piece and never saw the maker's mark until you folks pointed it out! Happy New Year!

More help with Locket hallmarks

Would appreciate the help with the hallmarks on this tiny locket (about 5/8" or 18mm wide). The hallmarks are the lion, what I believe to be a lower case "u", and an anchor. Haven't been able to locate a maker's mark on this piece - does anyone know if the shape of the cross has a particular name ...

Help with hallmark on Boer War Charm

Can someone help me with the identification of the hallmarks on this piece please. The maker's mark, which is a little hard to see in the photo, reads G.E.W . The hallmarks themselves are of an anchor, the letter "Z", and the lion. There are two photos, one on each side of the charm, depicting Boer ...
