silver hook (tashaak)

Hello,

I have a silver hook (tashaak). I can not recognize the hallmarks. I do not know for sure it is Dutch but it is attached to a Dutch silver bag (tasbeugel) maker Hendrik Tenkink date 1791. Does somebody recognise the hallmarks and point me in the right direction?

Re: Dutch Spoon gelegenheidslepel

The spoon is 16,7 cm long and the weight is 54 gram. So that is 3.23 gram per cm. A little to heavy. This allong with the missing hallmarks make me doubt it is a 18th century spoon. Rather a 19th century copy.

Re: Dutch Spoon gelegenheidslepel

Thank you for your reply. After close observation I noticed traces of gilding. Is this common for these spoons? Does that may be tell more about the period that it was made? Or which place?

Dutch Spoon gelegenheidslepel

Hello,

I have a Dutch spoon (gelegenheidslepel). It looks old but I can not find no hallmarks so it seams to be not marked. Can somebody give me more information about which time this spoon was probably made? And if it is possible who was the maker?

Many thanks!

Re: Identify german hallmarks

Thank you for your interesting response. Is this city mark the official city mark of Striegau, Silesia or is this a city mark of the smaller towns where J.A.Lemor sold his products? Is there documentation of this city mark or this makersmark online or in books?

Identify german hallmarks

Hello,

I have 2 spoons with (I think) a makersmark and city mark. I think it is Naumburg in Germany. Can somebody tell me more about these spoons? When they were made, may be some information about the maker.
