I have a plated oil cigar lighter. I think the mark is Richard Hodd around 1880. There is another figure under the mark I cannot make out. Maybe a bird? Any one have an idea what it is and what it means? Also, there is a monogram on it (CM or MC). Anyone know of a way to track who this is?
