And it is not Hanau silver ...

Hello,
I am trying to identify the marks of this pair of candleholders, height 24 cm.
Going by he style the are probably made around 1800.
One mark is shaped like a leaf and the other one looks a bit like the "Pyr", the pine cone that was used on early Augsburg silver.

Re: Small jug from Berlin?
Brilliant!! :)
B = Ch. F. Deppe, 1842 — 1847
That matches the others dates perfectly.
Thank you so much for your help. :)
If I am allowed to, I will be back with the second jug soon..
This will be even more difficult, three tiny hallmarks, hardly to recognize and I don't have the slightest idea ...

Small jug from Berlin?
Hello,

I have a small collection of jugs, this is the first of them.
13,5 cm high and 15 cm wide , with handle.
What I found out so far, or at least what I think I found out...:
After turning this a couple of times round I think the hallmark on the right shows ...

I 've seen the Dingeldein brothers already mentioned in the Hanau Pseudo-mark section.
Very interesting that a part of the family went to the States.
My bowl was definitely produced here, I am living in Germany.

Re: Silver bowl with coin, Dutch marks?
Thank you both for your answers.
I see, I was reading through the Pseudo-Mark section already but I missed this one out.
I wondered anyway why even companies with a good reputation were using these marks, like Schleissner and Neresheimer for example.
This bowl is beautifully made, nice workmanship ...
