ams mark on sterling art deco earrings art metal studios?

Post by Bonhamflasher »

help. i believe these earrings were made by edmund boker of and eunot gould of chicago silversmiths which was renamed art metal studios in 1934. the pair are marked sterling on the screw knob, worn but there, and have AMS etched on the bottom of the tip of the cali-lille as i attempted to show in the image. this is not initials of a previous owner as the mark was specifically drawn. i could not get a good image so drew the letters as they appear. the vertical lines are fat at the center and drawn in at the bottom with extra long tails. i hope someone can help with this . the earrings appear to have a copper colored metal brush over the silver. measures 1 1/2" by 3/4". thanks!

Jewelry is not my area, but your mark looks very similar to one used by the Art Metal Sudios.
