This art deco silver-plate carving set has no marks on either the knife or fork (aside from being monogrammed on the other side). That means I don't know the maker.
I've gone through hundreds of photos trying to identify the pattern, but no luck.
I'm looking to identify either the maker or pattern.
Hi - seems unlikely to me that this set is silverplate, the handles should be sterling, the pattern is Wallace's 'Carthage', introduced in 1917. The silver on hollow-handle items is usually quite thin, so they're often struck lightly, might find remnants of the marks on the sides if you look carefully.
Though I can see where it might bring 'Art Deco' to mind, the pattern is really more Neoclassical, typical of flatware patterns from the 1910s...
