I have a silver box but cannot make out the Hallmark/stamp that looks like a little Trophy? I know the makers to be LAC (Crichton Brothers of Bond Street) however noone knows what the little trophy is. I brought it around to a lot of the dealers at Covent Garden and they don't know what it is either. I have been told this maker was renown for their imitation silverwares so it is not a surprise. A lot of the dealers said they couldn't tell if silver or plate as it such a quality reproduction. Although one silver expert seems to think it was silver on copper.
Hoping someone on here will be able to say what it is......
