could somebody please help me identify the goldsmith? I know it's a mark for Milan, but who exactly did the number 38 belong to? It is a pendant for a paratroopers 1st division loyalty necklace from 1944. In thanks for saving the art treasures of the Monte Cassino monastery from American bombing, Abbot Gregorio Diamare gave a small gift of silver, among other things. The silver was used to make necklaces of loyalty. Thank you! :)
