Another Mystery I.D.

Post by Daddy1947 »

Can any sharp eyed reader identify this company?
I have gone through several reference books AND websites to no avail.
It is an 8 1/2 to 9 inch table serving spoon.
Says M.B.CO. STERLING
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Please post larger pictures. Thumbnails are useless for detailed examination of marks.

Meriden Britannia Co. - it's their multi-motif 'Embossed' pattern, introduced in 1885, one of their 1847 Rogers silverplate patterns that could be ordered in sterling.
