Cutlery Hallmark - Unknown

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up this flatware set (6 of each item, plus 6 fruit knives, teaspoon and cake knife).

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the mark? They billed it as German 800 Silver; but there is literally no indication of that on the pieces. I bought them because I liked the style, so whatever they turn out to be I will be happy!

Hopefully you guys can help with the makers mark? Pattern name? Anything really.

In Germany is "100" => silver plated (Silberauflage).

Thanks for the quick reply; I think you're 100% right. Now there is only that horribly confusing makers mark to figure out *Sobs*.

Not even sure how to read it, from the g (I'm presuming it's a g), the symbol after 100 or from the N (again I'm assuming it's a N)

silver plated is not my specialty. I know myself now relatively well, with German silver from before 1888 (although I am not a blakstone ;-))

I'm sure you have noticed that the blades are Sheffield made, the style of this mark was popular in the 1930/40/50's.

Hi,
Can't place it, but I'm sure this is a well known German Deco pattern, perhaps a Gebhard Duve design? or maybe Austrian. Sure I've seen it referenced somewhere. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can ID it.

Hello, this is the "Stolzenfels" pattern by Eickhorn, Germany. I have never seen this mark before. Could be for exports only. Best wishes, Bahner
