Have spent many hours on this but cannot find anything, makers mark is JW, there is a scribed repair mark dated 1922 and the 2 small hallmarks, beneath the makers are (i think) a 'h' and a 'j'

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

The casemaker, or in this case (no pun intended), the importer, is James Weir of Glasgow.

The lefthand hallmark is the Glasgow import mark, and the righthand one, difficult to make out, but looks like 1915.

Hi Ruggers,

We are always interested in seeing examples of hallmarks. Clear, high definition images of the marks are of great assistance in identification.
