I have a pocketwatch that I finally figured out how to open. I expected to find a makers mark on the movement, but was disappointed to find nothing. The only marks are on the silver case. The serial number on the movement and case match so it is original. I'm hoping someone can help with the marks on the case to help me figure out who the watchmaker is?

Help with a pocketwatch case?
Re: Help with a pocketwatch case?
Hi,
The case was made by James Jackson, of 6, Norman Street, St. Lukes. Presumably D.G.& S. were the retailers, or perhaps, the watchmakers and assemblers of the piece.
