Need help with ID of set of Silverware

date mark? looks like a SPADE (3 leaf clover with stem) and then "NSo"....... there is a capital N with a circle around it, a capital S with a circle around it and then what looks like a small o with a larger O around it and then a circle around them. then the letters "E.P.N.S."

please help!!! this is driving me crazy. it came from a deceased family member.

Difficult to visualise without seeing the marks but I can tell you the EPNS stands for Electro-plated nickel silver...which basically means it is plated and not solid silver. Best wishes, Mike.

The marks you describe sound similar to silverplate marks used by the National Silver Company. They used a lot of different marks over the years. Founded in the early 1900's in New York City. They bought out the F.B. Rogers Silver Company in 1955. They have not made flatware since 1945. Here's some of their marks:
