Here is my latest buy. Weights in at 360 grams. Got at a really good price admin adit. Any thoughts or comments would be great. This is my first piece from the 1700's. I considered it my first really good piece in my collection. Anyway, thought I would share.

However, I am a little concerned about the apparent lines around this mark. Try breathing on the mark, does the condensation reveal a line around the mark?
I dont see any lines around it. Are you talking like a line all the way around the whole mark? When I breath on it, nothing shows up. I can see the individual punch marks on the inside of the cup, 5 little indentations where it was stamped one at a time.
Yes, those show up, thats the only two there, I breathed on it and nothing else shows up, and theres nothing unusual on the back that I can see. I took it to an antique lady here in Vegas and she said it was defiantly sterling and it looked good. I had a link to an auction that was held in England that sold a similar cup, looks almost the same, but weights a little more and was made 6 years later. Very similar design, same hearts, same foot.
