Any ideas on who this maker is? WPS A
Just curious if someone may recognize this stamp on the back of a teaspoon and sugar tong set I have - thanks.

Hi,
As no answer has been forthcoming, there is always the possibility that this is not a maker's mark. I may be the mark of a wholesaler or retailer. Often wholesalers and larger retailers were keen to be supplied goods with marks that did not identify the manufacturer, to ensure that repeat business was through them rather than that of a competitor.
The 'A' would be a quality indicator.
