CHICAGO
W. A. Harnisch, George Maier, Fred Clark, Guy R. Robinson, Liston Edwards and J. D. Grassick, of the Alvin Corp., returned to the Chicago office last week after spending a week at the home offices at Providence attending the annual sales conference. Mr. Robinson left for his home at Dallas and Mr. Edwards for San Francisco. Mr. Grassick left with his family for Indian Lake, Mich., to spend a couple of weeks, and the other men left for their respective territories.

James Grassick, sales manager for Alvin Corporation, spent several days in Chicago during August visiting the local office, during which time meetings were held for the salesmen of this office.

Joseph Q. Miller, of Melrose, Mass, for a number of years a salesman for the Alvin Division of the Gorham Co., and more lately associated with the Burche silverware firm in Wakefield and Stoneham, Mass., died about the middle of March.
