DISCONTINUES ENGLISH GOODS

Middletown, Conn.—The Middletown Silver Co. is no longer handling English goods.

The reduction in duty of 15 per cent, said M. S. Cornell, Jr., president and treasurer, was not a marked factor, in that it only reduced the landed cost of goods plus duty by something less than 10 per cent, and did not obviate any of the difficulties experienced with methods and distance.
