Help with identifying pendant maker

Post by themoron »

Hi,

I bought my mother a Blue John pendant for her birthday and would like some help identifying the maker if possible.

As you can see with the image, there is a JPT or possibly JRT, anchor, lion and an E

I've worked out the anchor is Birmingham, lion is 925 sterling and E denotes 1853 but I cannot find any references to the maker's initials online.

Can anyone shed some light?

Cheers

Oh right thanks. I was going by the guide on this site. Looks like it's lacking on the range of dates it covers.

Any idea on the maker?

Cheers

Thanks. In no way am I disappointed it's not as old as I thought. I'm just glad it's not a piece of chinese fluorite that I've read about that have been found recently.
