Medallion/locket

Post by Matulda »

I have purchased a medallion that I need some help with. I think it's silver, but I have no idea where it's from except that it's not Scandinavian. It has thick black enamel on it and three oriental pearls in a leaf on the front. There are two identical marks on the ring which were impossible to get a picture of. It's a capital A with serifs, in a square with the corners cut. Inside the locket the letters CB are stamped on both halves. In addition, the Roman number VII is scraped on both insides.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me with information on this!
