Help With Marks and ID of this Watch

Post by adamw »

Hello and Help! I picked up today this vintage exquisite silver pocket watch. The workmanship in the silver is just remarkable as is the face of this beautiful piece. However, I have no idea how to ID the hallmarks. There is a coin attached to the fob dated 1838 but of course this could have been added later. However, it seems as if everything does go together. The silver beads on the fob match the tooling on the case so I have no reason to believe that this wasn't all designed to be presented as is. It is stamped 933. I was not familiar with that silver content.

Any thought to date or maker would be extremely appreciated!

Cheers!

Adam
