British minimum Standard being assayed is 925-1,000 for Silver!
Hello »
ejenie«
Welcome to the Forum.
Yes I understand, that to be a »
New be«
is really difficult.
Some times the
single tree isn’t “
seen”
inside the Forest — on the other hand, some times a
single tree is “
seen” to be “
the Forest”.
A “
cat’s face”
don’t stand here for »
London« - especially not, for which reason who ever it is placed, on a
800-1,000 item.
The British minimum Standard fineness to be assayed is 925-1,000 for Silver!
I suppose that it is a souvenir from
Hameln, Germany — with the at least in Germany well known story »
Der Rattenfänger von Hameln« (»
The Pied Piper of Hamelin«).
That’s sounded by the object’s sculptural theme — but also by the indication of the
German minimum fineness of 800-1,000.
JR is maybe there a local caster-silversmith? Actually I don’t know any one with these initials, who cast silver for jewellery.
It seems to me that it is out of a recent production = End XX until beginning XXI century.
Please use the much basic information which is provided — like e.g.

and much more has »
925-1000« to offer for you.
