Please help me identify an italian silver object.
Is hallmarked with italian marks (star, number of silversmith and province letters) but so small I was barely able to distinguish hallamark with power lens.
Dimensions are 4 inch long, 2 inch wide, 4/5 inch deep.

I would suggest an ash-tray or shared salt, actually part of one. The holes would have supported it in a stand.
