Birmingham enamelled cross A.M.S

Marked for Birmingham and a makers mark of A.M.S, it is an enamelled cross. Any info on maker and dates appreciated.
The date J is for 1933, Birmingham assay office.
I have been unable to find any reference as to who the maker is, maybe someone else will know.
