Shreve & Co. Small dishes or cups?

Hello! I just acquired this set of 8 small Shreve & Co. San Fransisco sterling cups. I was wondering if anyone knows what they are? I'm thinking peanut dishes or sorbet? But they're so small it's hard to tell. Dimensions are 2 & 1/2" tall, the base is 1 & 1/2" in diameter, and the bowl is 2 & 3/8" in diameter and 5/8" deep. Also, can anyone put a roundabout date on them? ANY info would be great actually! Thanks so much!
