How do I determine a replica?

My grandmother gave me this sterling ingot pendant over 30yrs. ago (from Scotland). In checking the marks, I noticed peculiar discrepancies. The leopard's head has a mustache, the lion rampart is head facing forward not looking towards and the date mark is missing the slash through it which would make it early 1700's. Would these type of irregularities mean it's just a reproduction? It is definitely silver. Any opinions would be appreciated as I've never looked into marks before.
Thanks, Caroline

Hi there

No, your marks are fine. They are just not 30 years old. The date letter is for 1979, meaning the ingot is now 27 years old.

Ah, that makes sense. I didn't think it was any older because the design is contemporary and my memory (I realize now) is bad for dates. :)
Thank you very much for your input.
