From your photo, which only shows the interior of the back cover of pocket watch case, it will be impossible to say where the watch was made. To identify the maker and country of manufacture, marks on the dial and more importantly, the movement, are crucial.

That said, what I see in the photo is an .875 / 84 mark suggesting the Ottoman Empire or Persia; the Swiss bear mark in use 1882-1934 (see http://www.925-1000.com/foreign_marks3.html); and a crescent and sun emblem that is also reminiscent of the Ottoman coat of arms, albeit here missing the tughra mark.

So my guess is that the pocket watch case was made in Switzerland for export to somewhere in the Ottoman Empire. Photos of the pocket watch dial and movement would provide a clearer answer.

DR

I Know for a fact that this type of mark was also used on watched exported to Russia, although not a Russian import mark, I have already seen it on a Longines retailed in Saint Petersburg in 1903 by Messrs Schwab.
Although the Ottoman scenario is very likely. What I believe is that the Swiss marked many watches in 2 standards at the factory in order to facilitate exports. I have seen many watches marked 14k gold and 56 (Russian standart)at the same time , same goes for 84/875
