Maker? "TD" Gergian Sterling Silver 1813 London Cr

Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out this thread. I have this beautiful Georgian Sterling Silver Cruet set, which I am trying to identify the maker on. It is hallmarked Sterling, London, 1813, & "TD". Possibly makers that have been suggested to me are: Thomas Dicks, Thomas Dealtry, & Thomas Daniel. Can anyone confirm any of the above? or suggest other makers? Please post even if there are responces, I'm hoping I can get multiple confirmations on the correct maker. THANKS!

My money's on Thomas Dicks. The work of his that I've seen is all concentrated around this time, and his is the only mark I've seen with a pellet between the letters.
Jackson's seems to think that the last mention of Thomas Daniel was in 1784 although I've seen a piece purporting to be his from 1788; either way, it's slightly early to make it likely that this piece is by him, though still possible.
A very nice item by the way.

Yes l agree a very nice set,Thomas Daniell died between 1797 and 1801,although l have heard of pieces by other makers being marked after thier death l think that is to longer period,One thing l noticed is that the marks of the maker are different there is a pellet on one and not the other,however he entered 5 marks between 1792 and 1818,the only one l have a picture of is with a pellet,although a similar smaller punch (no pic) was entered 9/7/1811 which could account for the difference,the only TD without a pellet is Thomas Death mark entered 17/2/1812.
l must admit Thomas Dicks is my favorite

Hi Niles & Nigel! Thanks. My initial thoughts were that it was Thomas Dicks as well. Yes, the two hallmarks are slightly different. The one hallmark (no dot) is on the bottom of the cruet holder. There is also as "TD" on the handle. The "T.D" is on the spoon, that is part of the set (although it may have been married at some point, but if that has happend that sure did a good job matching the years up, etc). Best Regards, Paul
