St Christopher

Post by Jonny555 »

Hi there, new member here.

I have this St Christopher that I was given by my great grandfather when I was a child, nearly 40 years ago. All I know about it is that he got it as a child himself. He died in 1977 aged 87. This item meant a lot to him and he used to swear it was what helped him survive the trenches in WW1. It means a great deal to me also.

I would love to find out a little about it, but can't find the hallmark anywhere that I looked. If anybody could identify the hallmark I would be so grateful.

Could this be the answer?

Green John & Co est. 1792

A member of another computing forum has found the above info from a book she owns. Could this be correct?
