Marks on silver and enamel pendant compact

Post by ruby0080 »

Hi,

Could someone please help me identify the origin and age of this compact?

The marks are 800 which I understand is the silver content; the other mark I believe is ROZ (?) but I could be wrong.
I seem to see a faint bird's head next to the 800 but I'm definitely not sure.
This is driving me mad and I'd be grateful if someone could help me on this.

Thanks

I still need help on this one if anyone has a faint idea of at least a country where this compact could be from?

I have possibly found a twin of this compact in a Compact guide book but the picture is in black and white and certainly not clear.
The compact itself is described as:
"Asprey sterling silver hallmarked miniature ball compact with vermeil blue enamel; loop for chain"

The one I have isn't from Asprey but identical in all other aspect.
