slightly domed top but plain, Large 1 & 1/2" across, back shows G inside V and sterling. I found here under the American Marks V page this mark but it is ever so slightly diff. Also it says 1904-1920 would this be considered Art & Crafts style? I know I may sound picky but I'm adding notes to the cards on every silver button I own, that way when I kick the bucket hubby and kids will have info. on my collection.

Hi,
George L. Vose.
Arts and crafts was a movement that flourished until about 1920.Not every item made within the period was influenced by arts and crafts movement; far from that (traditional styles of rather poor design were prevalent). But your button can be classified as modern at the time (Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts, Jugendstil, Vienna Secession...)

Regards

Thanks AG2012, so even though the VG is slightly diff. is it still in the 1904-1920 time period?
